030 Archicad GDL CUTPLANEs [6ZRwmuHxbpo]

CUTPLANEs. What are they, when and how do you use them? Now you can get away with modelling probably 80% of your objects using the PRISM_ command. It’s pretty good with its capacity to do rounded shapes and cut holes. But sometimes it’s not enough. This is where CUTPLANEs can help. CUTPLANES are an essential tool to use to complete a lot of your geometry generation in GDL. But they can be a bit tricky to understand. So let’s work through this so we can get a handle on their idiosyncrasies. I also cover how to use Boolean parameters in place of status codes. Completed in Archicad 27.
