Season 2 Episode 4 - Wedgewood In today’s episode we are mixing CMYK dyes to create a Wedgewood colorway. Below you will find all the info on each attempt. #1 powder dye .35 C .35 K #2 .35 C powder dye 3 x 1/16 Y liquid stock 1.5 tsp K liquid stock #3 .35 C powder dye .04 M powder dye 2 x 1/16 Y liquid stock 1.5 tsp K liquid stock Dyes used in this video 407 Caribbean Blue (Primary) C 411 Deep Magenta (Primary) M 401 Brilliant Yellow (Primary) Y 413 True Black (Primary) K Stock mixtures 4 tsp leveled of each powder dye mixed 32 oz hot water *note when mixing Brilliant Yellow I do half this mixture (2 tsp leveled with 16oz hot water) as this particular dye does not have a long shelf life Directions Presoak yarn in plain tap water for minimum 30 minutes, overnight if possible.
