And into the sunset they technically, it’s sunrise :) Honestly, I really love this anime. It had its bumps along the way, but I’m satisfied with the ending and Renga scenes. Yes, Adam didn’t face the consequences of his actions, but it is what it is. I don’t understand why are people so disappointed with the ending and complaining about anime not addressing Renga’s relationship when you need to understand that essentially this was an anime about skateboarding. Their relationship was just a bonus point which I enjoyed very much. And heck, have you seen that hug after the final race? I got a flashback to Victuuri’s hug/kiss in episode 7 and I melted. And Langa saying “my happiness is“ and then the camera shows Reki. My boy is so whipped and I wouldn’t ask for anything more than that. So, my point is that you should enjoy this anime for what it is, a quirky piece of entertainment with a cute central and side relationships/couples. Don’t attack the production team that worked hard to make this anime come to life. Sorry for making a long ass post about this, but I will indeed miss these sk8er boys.
