The protests are meant to be similar to the “EndBandGovernanceInNigera” protests which took place Aug. 1-10 and led to several deaths and multiple arrests. Anti-government protests under slogans including “End Bad Governance” and “Revolution Now“ are scheduled nationwide on Oct. 1. Likely gathering locations of other gatherings include city centers of state capitals, notably near governor’s offices, government buildings, such as the National Assembly in Abuja, major roads, including highways, and those from city centers to airports.
