How Egyptology Illuminates the Crucifixion of Jesus

In John 3 Jesus has an interesting conversation with a Jewish Rabbi, a Pharisee named Nicodemus. In the conversation, Jesus references an event in Israel’s history which dates back to their time in the Wilderness (in Numbers 21). In this video, Ted explains how an understanding ancient Egypt is crucial to fully understand not only what Jesus says to Nicodemus, but also His own crucifixion.
