Wheelchair users & world’s best public transport. What does it look like? #Japan

Ever wondered how it is to travel by public transport in Japan when in a wheelchair? Here’s my experience. Basically approach the ticket gate officer at the station to let the station team know about you and your final destination and they will ring that station and any other if you need to change trains. The only downside is when you want to travel on long distance trains (outside of eg. Tokyo). You have to visit any JR ticket office (Midori-no-madoguchi) and it can take up to 30 minutes to make a reservation. Follow me on X:
