PVC Geodesic Dome Load Test

For moveable chicken coops, a 5 gallon chicken waterer that weighs 40 lbs can easily be suspended from the hubs. The shape of a geodesic dome is both aerodynamic, and easily sheds snow. For this reason geodesic domes are used in Antarctica and other extreme environments. Our domes are assembled with either 120 lb heavy duty nylon zip ties, or 250 lb stainless steel zip ties, depending on the need. We are convinced that our PVC Dome will handle more snow or wind load than the greenhouse plastic or tarp you cover it with.
