(DUET) “David’s Lamentation“ (Cooper #239) on Hayden duet concertina in Kabul

Playing “David the King“ (shape note Cooper Book #239) on an Elise Hayden Duet concertina. It’s a type of concertina with the same note on push/pull, low notes on the left and high on the right (which is why I’m sitting with my right towards the camera). Filmed in Tajbeg Palace, Kabul, Afghanistan. The palace was severely damaged by constant rocket fire during the Mujahideen War (1990s), but most of it is still safe to wander around in, unlike the King’s Palace which is pretty wrecked.
