2022 FRITTENDEN FLYER GRASSTRACK

Another spectacular meeting from the Frittenden club to close their 2022 season. Great racing all day, and the RH Sidecar Final was something to savour. With Mark Cossar/Gareth Williams as always looking very quick, but there is one crew in particular they need to keep a lookout for, especially in 2023. That is Terry Saunters and this time he had Carl Pugh on the back for him. On a track that was really grippy, it made for some very interesting racing, as in the Solo’s it made it difficult to get the back wheel out and drift around the corners as they normally would. Some rode it really well, and others it caused problems for. As for the Sidecars, not sure it made any difference, as they seemed just as fast as normal around this quick track. The LH Sidecars are just so closely matched now, with all the new crews coming in over the last couple of years, but the performance of the day had to go to the Holland boys.
