If any of you wish to contribute further to MegaAntiCheat, you’ll have to fork the repos like everyone else. I’ll be making a video explaining my reasoning for this change to the public in detail, but the TLDR is that a variety of unfortunate circumstances have decimated the active portion of the development team. Some of those circumstances were my fault, some of them weren’t, but in the end they are all my responsibility. Valve has also stepped in with effective measures that have held up under considerable punishment. I’m sorry that I didn’t engage with you guys more; you ended up here because you are talented, but I ended up here because I got lucky with YouTube, and I wasn’t fully prepared to take the lead of such an ambitious project. Nevertheless, we made incredible progress. I’ve decided the best way forward is to continue with the project on my own and not occupy any more of your time or energy. I’m confident that I’ll be able to finish the project on my own, given enough time and an appropriate reduction in scope. You left an incredibly strong foundation for me to build upon, and I will make sure to credit you all for the work you’ve done. There’s no need to leave this discord server, but there’s also no need to stay.
