145: PNSO Dunkleosteus (Zaha 2021) Review

A veritable prehistoric sea monster, we have a prehistoric fish from PNSO, the iconic Dunkleosteus! A marine predator that would be worthy of the name “Jaws”, this marine placoderm from the Late Devonian was a nightmarish predator with shearing jaws that could pulverize both meat and dermal armour. Probably made famous by the Walking With series Sea Monsters, this is an updated version from PNSO, which brings some deserved updates to the morphology of this dangerous fish. Along with a pleasing paint application to match, this well-sculpted Dukleosteus answers my hopes for non-dinosaurs from PNSO, and I am now more keen than ever for an Elasmosaurus!
