Watersmeet (1957)

Watersmeet, Devon. M/S travelling down a country road as if filmed from a car. There are trees on either side. C/U of a sign saying ’The National Trust Watersmeet’, there are hills and trees behind it. L/S of the river Lyn flowing over some rocks, there are trees on either side and people are walking along a path by the side and the bridge running over it. M/S of the wooden bridge, two men are stood on it admiring the view, a lady and man also walk across it. L/S of the river and the trees. The narrator tells how the river destroyed the town of Lynmouth, but it has now been rebuilt with better defences. M/S of the river flowing over some rocks.
