Xenoglyph (US) — Spiritfraud — 2022 full length

The second offering of this duo from the United States. Their music covers a dystopian narrative from an exoplanet overrun by technology, in which the human and robotic tasks were inverted. Eventually they were able to escape using a wormhole and coming to earth. Their music serves a prophetic transmission, reminding the humans who wish to listen of the possible outcome of our planet. Musically, this is mostly an atmospheric act with some avant-garde progressions. However, what sets their music above many others, in the way they create a multi-layered atmosphere, often dissonant and unsettling. The songwriting is nearly impossible to predict, and that trait is also present in each instrument. A strange alien transmission, sometimes bizarre but beautifully crafted.
