Meet QIBBOT, the world’s fastest tele-operated boxing robot
Researchers in China claim to have developed the world’s fastest tele-operated robot, designed for a virtual boxing game.
This robot used VR cameras to track the operator’s movements. James Geng of the Qibo Robot Company in Weihai says that they were inspired by the 2012 movie Real Steel in which human controllers remotely control giant robots in ferocious mechanical martial arts bouts.
