They still feel that they need more seasoning. We are expecting to see optimum results of these burrs in espresso after grinding 5kg to 10kg of coffee beans. Seasoning these burrs will probably remove any micro imperfections in the finishing of the cutting edges. Additionally, it will add a very small percentage of fines that will allow these burrs to perform better in espresso. . So far, regardless of the small channeling and the difficulties in dialing with the burrs, most espresso shots were delicious.
