My Classic Car is in Penticton, B.C. for the Peach City Beach Cruise. The setting here in this Canadian vacation destination is absolutely amazing, and the variety of cars is even better! The 450HP Classic Super Car we checked was just one example of the incredible and rare rides at this show. This 1973 Manta Mirage is basically a street legal McLaren race car built for a high-speed tracklike driving experience. First up, though, is a killer Mercedes-Benz RestoMod. This 1959 190SL is a seldom scene classic roadster design paired with modern technology and Corvette power that you’ve got to see! Then we head over to an immaculately restored 1949 Chevrolet Canopy Express with the original . Thrift Master engine. This unique open-sided truck wagon was built with grab-and-go side access from the factory, and it’s really cool! After that we find a fully loaded Canadian-Built Convertible from the Ford Motor Company. The 1956 Meteor Rideau Sunliner is an ornate 4-passenger cruiser that would make for a perfect driving tour of this mountainous land between the lakes. We close this show out with a patriotic Rambler with incredibly low mileage. This 1963 Rambler American 440H is a cute little 2-door that looks like a blast to drive with its unique double shifter setup and original in-line 6! Penticton, B.C. is an amazing place to visit no matter what, but the Peach City Beach Cruise is what really puts it on the map for us.
