IX Mistrzostwa Polski - Szermierka Klasyczna - Tychy 2014 - Highlights

Mistrzostwa Polski w Szermierce Klasycznej to największe zawody tej dyscypliny sportu w Polsce i jedne z największych w Europie. Szermierka Klasyczna jest sportem ekstremalnym, rozwijającym się równolegle do szermierki sportowej. Posiada własne mistrzostwa, zawody i szczegółowy regulamin ich rozgrywania. Zasady podporządkowane są założeniu, że każda walka musi być przeprowadzona tak, jaby broń była ostra. Walka na poziomie zawodniczym jest walką kontaktową, dopuszcza używanie innych technik niż tylko trafienie bronią. Mistrzostwa są najważniejszym elementem Pucharu Polski. Jest on rocznym cykl zawodów szermierczych. Klasyfikacja w nim - obejmująca punktację w każdym z trzech rodzajów broni - jest najlepszym wyznacznikiem poziomu i przygotowania szermierczego dla każdego z zawodników. Sam Puchar jest nagrodą dla najlepszego w danym roku szermierza, a przyznawany jest w trakcie Mistrzostw Polski. ___ ___ ___ Polish National Classical Fencing Championship are the biggest event in that category of sport in Poland and one of the greatest in Europe. Classical Fencing is an extreme sport, which is developing side by side with sport fencing. It has its own championships, contests and detailed regulations. All rules are set on an assumption that each fight should be carried out as if the wapons were live. All the tournament fights allow a direct contact between fencers, which means that techniques other than actual hit with the weapon are allowed. The Championships are the most important element of the Polish National Cup. The Cup is an anual cycle of fencing competitions. The classification incorporates the scores from all three disciplines and is the best method of measuring the level and the fencing form of each of the fighters.
