While in Switzerland I got to see the construction automation research lab at ETH Zurich with Tim Wangler. Their set up is incredible with many robotic arms, materials, massive over head gantry systems, and more. The various branches of construction automation being explored here range from concrete printing, knit formwork, complete robotic assembly of timber structures and tons of 3d printing.
