The Turkish get-up tests and advances the margins of our capacity to stand from the ground by adding a single-arm load. Coordination, balance, flexibility, and strength are all challenged with the practice of this movement. Move slowly and deliberately at first until the positions become familiar. Then, strive to perform the movement smoothly with a fluid transition between each position.
