Tens of thousands of protesters rallied in the Serbian capital for a fourth week on May 27, calling for President Aleksandar Vucic’s resignation. Vucic’s government is under pressure over back-to-back mass shootings that left 18 people dead and wounded several others. On May 3, a teenage boy killed nine pupils and a security guard in Belgrade in the first school mass shooting in Serbia. A day later, a 21-year-old man killed eight people outside the city.
