Mig-29K successfully trapped on Indian Navy’s aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya in the Arabian Sea
Somewhere in the northern Indian Ocean, a Mig-29K is successfully trapped on Indian Navy’s latest aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya (R33). Other ships part of the carrier battle group can be seen in the video.
“Trap“ is an often-used slang for an arrested landing, for those who are confused. The tail hook installed under the plane literally gets caught (trapped) on one of the three cables strung across the flight deck. Cheers!
