This video simulation presents a Geocentric Perspective of the Earth, Sun, and Mercury. A color coded line draws the ephemeris (path) of Mercury; where warm-red colors signify faster movement, and blue-cool colors represent slower speeds. Uses real position and velocity data provided by NASA JPL over a period of 165 years sampled at every 48 hours.
