Sydney’s southwest shaken by 3.6 magnitude earthquake

A 3.6 magnitude earthquake has shaken Sydney’s southwest on Friday night. The quake hit the Blue Mountains region at about 8:53pm local time. Tremors were felt from the epicentre in Penrith and Silverwater. The quake had a reported depth of nine kilometres.
