Note: Location of the events are unknown Full titles read: “MAKING NOTES - We have no intention of showing you how to make counterfeit bank notes - but just the wood notes of a Xylophone.“ L/S’s of man placing planks of Honduras Rose Wood (the wood used to make the notes for Xylophones) on the ground. Several shots of the the wood being cut to size by various machines to make the notes for the musical instruments. M/S of the middle being scraped out of one the wooden notes, the narrator says that this is done to make a more “resonant sound“. M/S’s of a man placing the resonators into the Xylophone structure. Various shots of carpenters putting the instruments together in a workshop, and the notes being put in place. Very good L/S’s, M/S’s and C/U’s of a the musician Harry Robbins playing the Xylophone.
