Philips CM100 the first CD-ROM player

This is the Philips CM100 CD-ROM player. The design dates from 1985 but this one is build in 1986. The CM100 is based on mechanics from the Philips CD100 music CD player. But the electronics and the laserpickup are completely different. The CD100 uses a CDM0 laserpickup. The CM100 is newer and uses a CDM1 pickup. It reads a recorded CD-ROM as well.
