Chrisi Karvonides Dushenko «Creating a visual image of the characters of the television series»

On The 9th of April the School of Film and Television «The Industry» hosted an open webinar by Chrisi Karvonides Dushenko, LA television costume designer and professor at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). The topic of the meeting was «Creating a visual image of the characters of the television series (costume)». Chrisi’s TV design projects such as FX American Horror Story S1, HBO Big Love, HBO Carnivale, and Starz Blunt Talk were used as lecture examples. Through the lens as a Costume Designer the session focused visual communication with the producer, director, writers, and actors through style-sheets, research presentations, and design illustrations along with a demo on photo-bash collage sketching for discovering TV characters.
