Trump’s crime crackdown begins in Memphis, TN

President Donald Trump’s “crime crackdown“ has begun in Memphis, Tennessee. Trump said that he will send troops to several major cities as part of increased federal law enforcement in US cities, including Chicago and Portland. President Trump signed a memorandum earlier this month to establish a task force to address crime in Memphis, similar to his initiative cracking down on crime in Washington. Trump said the effort would include the National Guard, the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security Investigations and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
