Occurred on August 9, 2018 / Yellowstone National Park, USA “It was a chance encounter because of a break down! While our vehicle was on the side of the road and waiting for a tow truck to arrive inside world famous Yellowstone National Park--two massive bison come strolling down the road within feet of us! Not only can you see their massive size pass right by, but MORE impressive is that they are deeply growling and grunting. Because I am standing outside the vehicle the sounds from these two huge mammals is perfectly captured. The first one is low and intimidating! But it’s as if the second bison says, ’Now check this out!’ The up close sights and sounds were a unique moment of sheer animalistic power!
