Silky Stalking

Mohan, a bengal/siberian mix stalks senior keeper Steve Klein in Cedar Cove’s primary tiger habitat. Striking in his focus, Mohan gives an excellent example of stealthy approach as his prey’s awareness is turned towards and away from him. Using the cover of ambient noise and adjusting his path to remain outside his prey’s field of view, were it not for the chain link and a backwards facing camera this would have been a clean kill.
