Released in 1988, this collectible LCD game is a rare gem in the Splatterhouse franchise. The gameplay is as follows: A parapsychology student named Rick is trapped inside a haunted house called West Mansion. He uses the “Terror Mask“ - found in the drawer on the bottom floor - to resurrect himself into a wicked but good-at-heart fighting machine, from where he must maneuver his way up three floors of the mansion, battling haunted objects throughout the spooky house and fighting terrible paranormal creatures head-on, all the while searching for floating ladders to nab in order to take him higher. If he makes it to the top floor, he must face off with a giant, masked killer in bloody showdown to the death in order to try to save the beautiful Jennifer from the clutches of the demonic monster.
