Reinier Baas (b. 1985) is a Dutch guitarist, composer and recording artist. His critically acclaimed ‘mostly instrumental opera’ from 2016, entitled ‘Reinier Baas vs. Princess Discombobulatrix’, and his 2012 record ‘Mostly Improvised Instrumental Indie Music’ both earned him an Edison Award. His latest albums are ‘Mokum In Hi-Fi’ (2019), with long-time collaborator Ben van Gelder, and ‘Smash Hits’ (2018). Reinier is on the facuty of the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Siena Jazz University.

Ben van Gelder () is a leading Dutch voice on the alto saxophone. At age 17 he moved to New York and spent a decade collaborating and studying with a.o. Guillermo Klein, Jason Moran and Lee Konitz. He has since played and recorded with many contemporary jazz luminaries including David Binney, Mark Turner, Ambrose Akinmusire and Ben Street. Van Gelder received a much sought after commission from the Jazz Gallery, which resulted in the record Among Verticals. The music was arranged for and performed by several large ensembles, including the Metropole Orchestra, the Swiss Jazz Orchestra and the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw. Ben is on the facuoty of the Amsterdam Conservatory.
