Streabbog Opus 63 Piano No 6 "Distant Bells"

Jean Louis Gobbaerts (1835-1886) was a Belgian pianist, piano pedagogue, and composer of the Romantic period. He published more than 1,000 pieces, many of which were published under the name Streabbog which is Gobbaerts written backwards. After many years, most pianists will refer to the composer by his backwards name, Streabbog. His Opus 63 is a collection of 12 short studies for the Piano, which he referred to as “melodious“ and “very easy“. Study No.6 in the collection is titled “Distant Bells“ and is written in the key of C Major, with a brief escape into the key of G Major and then right back to the original key. The main feature is that the melody is being played by the left hand, and the left hand jumps over the right hand to get to some higher notes. I am including the score on the screen for your convenience. If you do want to purchase a printed score of the entire collection, you can use the link below. Streabbog Opus 63 Piano https://a
