For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (074) Mercury, (242) Metal Grey, (115) Hot Red, (254) Moon Rock and (110) Black. A crochet hook, I used a hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Thread and needle to stitch the castle together and black thread to embroider on markings.
The finished size will be 26cm wide x 19cm high (” wide x 7.5” high) for the larger castle, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the castle in Catona will be 20cm wide x 17cm high (8“ wide x “ high). The medium castle will be 15cm wide x 13cm high (” wide x 5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small castle will be wide x 9cm high (” wide x 3.5” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
