SEPTIROTH / CRAWLING - The Void Tape (FULL SPLIT ALBUM)

Me and Helin of Crawling have worked on this split in the bitter months of Autumn 2023, a blackened mix of melody and dissonance. We’re proud to bring you The Void Tapes! Crawling’s bandcamp: My side of the split is pretty melodic and quite conventional, with a produced and somewhat polished sound. While at times it may have a very bright sound, the underlying disturbing and at times personal themes of each song makes this my darkest record yet. Crawling’s side is more on the True Black Metal side of the coin, with its dissonant yet melodic soundscapes, characteristic of the void. You feel overwhelmed by the sheer space created by the songs, like you’re alone in the Abyss. Is that true though? Are you alone? Or is there something following you there?
