Truly an original and well-done research, one could not expect less from Edoardo Paniagua, a legendary name whose family has been involved in the research and practice of medieval music, especially Spanish-Andalusian, since 1966. As for the video, I obviously used the manuscript preserved in Florence. As can be seen from the images, the work was not completed in many of its musical and graphic parts. Nonetheless, it remains a wonderful and very important manuscript because it contains numerous unpublished Cantigas as well as interesting variations on some famous musical themes.
