From 1925 to 1965, she performed opera and spirituals across the US and Europe. Anderson also broke barriers by becoming the first African-American singer at the Metropolitan Opera in 1955. She championed civil rights, performed worldwide, and received numerous honors, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1963. This film was once owned by the Salt Lake County Library in Midvale, Utah. The film was produced by World Artists Productions in Hollywood, California. (Main title missing).
