Porque te vas?

Now this is a bit too much! This is an example of the synchronisty of life to the tenth degree! This morning after listening to my childhood friend’s cover of Jose Luis Persles’ “Por que te vas?“, I put on Carlos Saura’s “Cria Cuervos“. Saura was one of my favorite filmmakers when I was growing up and Cuervos is a hauntingly beautiful film about childhood. And then 35 minutes into the film, there’s the song, “Por que te vas?“, not the same version, but the sentiment is the same in both. So enjoy t
