Super Realistic Mangekyou Sharingan in REAL LIFE (Uchiha Itachi): Animated Iris - No 2D Overlay

This time I tried to recreate the Mangekyou Sharingan of Uchiha Itachi from the anime/manga series Naruto Shippuuden. Itachi used this Sharingan a lot, especially during the fight against his little brother Sasuke. I have recreated the whole eye in 3D to make the tomoe in the Sharingan appear as if the iris itself was moving and forming the holes. I made the little threads in the iris using hair particles in Blender and then animated them as curves.
