Ingredients Quantity
Oil 1 tsp
Dry red chilli 6 no
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Fennel seeds ¼ tsp
Cinnamon sticks 1 small
Cardamom seeds 5 no
Clove 4 to 5 no
Grated coconut ½ cup
Water as required
Oil 1 tbsp
Chopped onion 2 no
Curry leaves 3 strings
Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp
Mutton ½ kg
Salt to taste
Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Chopped ginger ½ tsp
Chopped green chilli 2 no
Water as required
Method
Fried green chilli and curry leaves for garnish
In a kadhai add oil , dry red chilli , coriander seeds , cumin seeds , black pepper , fennel seeds , cinnamon seeds , cardamom seeds , cloves , grated coconut and dry roast it . once it’s dry roasted remove it in a mixer grinder add water as required and grind it in to a fine paste.
In a kadhai add oil chopped onions , curry leaves , ginger garlic paste , mutton , salt and mix it well for 8 to 10 mins ,now add coriander powder , red chilli powder , garam masala, turmeric powder ,chopped ginger , chopped green chilli , mix it well for 2 mins now add the prepared paste ,and mix it well add water little by little as required and mix it properly and let it cook for 25 mins on medium flame
Finally remove it in a serving bowl, garnish it with fried green chillies and fried curry leaves
