Over the years social media has become a hotbed for enabling people to project a false reality of themselves in the hope of gaining a positive reaction in the form of likes, hearts and encouraging comments from strangers on the internet. But the response they receive is not always what they hoped for, sometimes leading to cyber bullying which has become out of control and has resulted in some victims committing suicide.
