Solo No-Reload Legacy of Bhaal SCS+Ascension: Final Battle

This is just to establish a permanent record in case I lose the original video files of my solo no-reload LoB SCS Ascension run with an Archer. The entire run was recorded, but the unedited video record is 38 hours and 38 minutes, which is too long for most people. The unique icons in the inventory screen are mostly cosmetic tweaks to vanilla items. The silver horned helmet, for example, is Vhailor’s Helm. The only mod-introduced item is the Yellow Dragon Scale armor, which is from Ascension itself (it grants 50% resistance to piercing and missile damage, though unfortunately Melissan does slashing damage in Ascension). The Scorcher Ammunition and the other forms of ammunition used with the crossbow are actually little-used vanilla items; you only get them by forging the Big Metal Unit. The Scorcher Ammunition, notably, strikes twice per hit due to its projectile (this means effects from Called Shot also hit twice!), and sets your attacks per round to 5, for an effective APR of 10. Note that the long strings of 10 magic damage you see in the dialog box are the result of the Better Stat Drain mod, in which ability score drain like an Archer’s Called Shot uses damage instead of stat drain to kill the target. This allows the player to gain XP for the kill and also makes it possible to land stat drain kills on plot-protected characters. In this case, though, the Better Stat Drain mod did not have a material impact on gameplay--it wasn’t required for the run to succeed. Called Shot would have taken down each enemy even without the Better Stat Drain mod (in fact, I think Melissan would have died a second or two earlier).
