Mark Philippoussis, nick-named “Scud“ in his pro career due to powerful serve, played Andy Roddick in Roddick’s first career match on the PowerShares Series on Feb. 13 in Birmingham, Alabama and connected on a serve that hit Roddick directly in the groin.
