HOW TO: Tree Branch Camouflage for Armor Models and Dioramas
My friends, today we’re gonna explore an interesting technique. Diorama modellers often use Asparagus ferns to build their own miniature coniferous trees, so I thought this material would work pretty well for tree branch camouflage often seen on tanks. This particular Jagdtiger 331 was only partially covered with branches, most likely as a result of them not being tied to the vehicle. Of course, it’s not possible to perfectly shrink down real pine needles and branches, so there’s a bit of room left for our imagination to fill in the blanks!
