Save taiga bean goose

Once upon a time taiga bean goose lived in the Russian taiga. It flew to Europe and Asia in the winter, nested in the summer, and happily molted on quiet rivers. All was good, but the bean goose number started to dramatically decrease. Taiga bean goose disappear from migratory flocks and fields of Siberia. And then world science became alarmed and sent an international expedition to the taiga wilds to find out what was wrong... This is a project of the Geese, Swan and Duck Study Group with the participation and support of the Russian bird ringing Center (IPEE RAS), MEC “Arctika“, the Department of science and innovation of the YANAD, the Royal Institute of natural Sciences of Belgium, the state reserve “Verkhne-Tazovsky“, the Ministry of forestry of Finland and AEWA; started in 2014.
