Sekani Solomon | Reimagining Worlds with #Cinema4D and #Redshift | #NABshow 2024
Sekani Solomon is an award-winning Creative Director based in New York City. Hailing from the twin-island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Sekani began his journey at Imaginary Forces after attending the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Sekani possesses a diverse skill set, spanning creative leadership, design, animation, and compositing, allowing him to contribute at any stage of the production pipeline with proficiency.
Over the years, Sekani has built an impressive portfolio as a motion designer, extending his work to tech, film, and television for high-profile clients including Marvel, Apple HBO, Starz, MTV, Disney, and the NFL. Sekani is currently at Block where he started the 3D Motion Design discipline at Cash App and helped create the Block brand. He then started and co-led Creative Studio, Blocks in-house agency before returning to Cash App as a Principal IC.
Sekani Solomon breaks down how he used #Cinema4D’s #Mograph, deformed, and dynamic tools to create morphing animations in Creative Studio’s film Reimagine, the 8-bit world in TBD’s explainer series and organic animation in Block’’s launch film.
