English: Leftfield Electronica, Deep House, Trip Hop and his musical past in Post Punk: Dirty Vocoder is the new project of the Cologne based Escape With Romeo Mastermind and Radio DJ Thomas Elbern and multimedia artist Shufflerror. Where the era of Escape With Romeo ended with the last studio album “After The Future” the Dirty Vocoder picks up the threads again: melancholic electronica meets robotic voices and ethereal vocal samples. Elbern and Shufflerror worked on the visual image for months, giving the Dirty Vocoder a life on its own by shooting videos and creating his special mask. The debut EP “Future Shock” is now followed by the second EP “Cocaine Dawn”, which deals with the consequences of drug abuse.
