Solo Sabre Drill from Angelo (Great for Home practice)

People often ask us for a drill they can practice at home, well this is one of the best. I will go into it more in a future video, but this is it’s first appearance at our Bristol class. It is the opening drill in Angelo’s broadsword lessons. The participants here vary from experienced fencers, to first time with a sword in the hand, first time practicing the drill for all, and within one session everyone was working through a drill which incorporates so much of the core sabre system. Technique can be corrected and improved in time, but it quickly gets people into good solid sabre principals. The drill incorporates all of the main cutting attacks and parries for the system. Notice that each parry is the correct parry for the cut which is follows.
