Visit Visit our website Made in the late 1920s or early 1930s as part of Kodak’s educational film library, this silent Eastman Classroom Film takes the viewer to Argentina, with footage from its various regions and a look at its natural resources and economic activities. It shows wool farming in Patagonia, cattle and wine production in the irrigated arid uplands, and wheat production in the Pampas. This is exported via the port of Bahia Blanca with a short introduction to the Argentine railway system, including fascinating footage from the trans-Andean railway. There is stunning footage of several sights in Buenos Aires, including the Parliament and the Plaza de Mayo.
