Granaína (Performance)

Filmed at the Plaza de San Nicolas with the stunning backdrop of the Alhambra palace, this video is my humble tribute to my favourite city in the world, Granada. As the name of the palo suggests, the beautiful flamenco form Granaína originates from the city of Granada. In this performance my arrangement not only draws inspiration from the magical city of Granada itself, but also from the musical language of the great Sabicas (1912-1990) and Niño Ricardo (1904 - 1972).
