UI Underwent Tumor Removal Surgery [Otter Life Day 895]

At the end of December 2023, a large lump (mast cell tumor) suddenly appeared in Ui’s right breast, and she underwent surgery to remove it in January 2024. Ui seems to have a constitution in which the anesthesia is too effective, and she does not wake up even at the time when other otters would normally wake up and be fine. In the evening, she looked very sluggish after waking up, but she managed to get up before the end of the day. I would like to thank the vet and the staff at the animal hospital who took care of her. The cause of mast cell tumor seems to be unknown, and it is hard to prevent it by diet and exercise.
